“All people just want
to watch
the world
burn.”
Something seems wrong
with the statement, but
now, it couldn’t seem more
right.
It’s amazing to me,
a man who prides himself
on kindness,
forward thinking,
that as I consider
our burning world
I call out “Can I put on the air
con?”
and proceed to blow
out the heat –
a denial of what’s
to come.
Kyoto, Copenhagen, Paris:
around the world
they
“fight” to save
the planet, like a child asked to
save
money. But it’s empty.
All talk.
No substance.
Their stance not just
sub-par, but
meaningless.
